- Founders' Day Set for May 29-31

Two words I try to use as often as possible are thank you. In these uncertain times, Gamma Omega has proven that ATΩ is a lifetime commitment and I commend you all for your support.

Alumni Commitment Increases Over Last 25 Years
Preparing for the annual board retreat, I began compiling statistics about our alumni involvement and I am proud to report that it has increased significantly. In the last 12 months, more alumni have financially contributed to Gamma Omega than ever before. The number of alumni updates received has increased beyond 20 percent and the amount of volunteers this year exceeds any of my previous 25 years with ATΩ.

Help Collegians Gain Experience
For those of you watching this participation, here is your invitation to become involved. We have a number of undergraduates in need of internships and helping a collegian connect with a company is an effective way to support our chapter. The board has met each of these undergraduates and assures any member would be proud to call them a brother. A detailed list of undergraduates with their majors and resumes will be posted at www.psutaus.org or you may contact Mike Walter ’90 at jmikewalter@aol.com. Please register on the Web site and check for updates on this program along with upcoming
events for Gamma Omega.

Founders’ Day Events Scheduled for May
Founders’ Day 2009 will be held May 29-31. We will kick off festivities with a cocktail party at the chapter house Friday night and a golf tournament followed by a dinner reception will be Saturday. We would like to encourage all brothers to attend as distinguished alumni will be honored and future chapter plans will be unveiled. A block of rooms at the Nittany Lion Inn has been reserved. If you would like to finalize a reservation please call (800) 233-7505 and use our group code ALPE09A. I look forward to seeing you all on Founders’ Day!
