The 2009 THON, held on February 22, was a great success. ATO paired with ZTA for another record-setting year, raising nearly $317,928. This is the 14th consecutive year that Gamma Omega has raised the most money than any other fraternity.
The 46-hour dancing marathon was sold out event and Bryce Jordan Center was packed to capacity with nearly 15,000 participants. When all was said and done, THON raised an amazing $7.49 million, breaking last year’s record by more than $800,000. All proceeds went to the Four Diamonds Fund, which helps families with the financial issues of pediatric cancer. Gamma Omega wishes to thank all of those who contributed to the Four Diamonds Fund and THON— what a great event!
